What a Handheld and AIDC Battery Specification Has to Pin Down

Most enquiries we receive specify capacity and voltage and stop there. For handheld computing & aidc the parameters below decide whether the pack survives its intended service life, and they are the ones worth agreeing before a purchase order.

A higher mAh pack that fails at 300 cycles costs more per shift than a smaller pack rated for 800. Cost per shift-day is the number that matters, not mAh per rupee.

Mismatched charging infrastructure

Replacement packs that do not authenticate with existing multi-bay chargers force a parallel charging setup. Confirm cradle compatibility before a fleet-wide order.

Mixing pack ages in one fleet

Old and new packs in the same charging pool means devices get an unpredictable runtime each morning. Batch-replace by device group, not one at a time.
