A well-maintained Nexfly semi-solid state drone battery typically delivers 300–500 charge cycles before capacity drops below 80% — significantly more than conventional LiPo batteries. Flight time per charge depends on drone payload and configuration. To maximize battery life, always charge at the recommended C-rate, store at 50–60% charge when not in use, and avoid deep discharge below the BMS protection threshold.

A Battery Management System (BMS) is an electronic circuit that monitors and protects a lithium battery pack. It balances individual cell voltages, prevents overcharge and over-discharge, monitors temperature, and protects against short circuits. Without a BMS, lithium batteries can fail catastrophically. All Leolus Energy battery packs include an integrated BMS designed for the specific application — whether drone, solar, ESS, or consumer electronics.

Always use the manufacturer-approved charger and charge at the recommended C-rate. Never charge a damaged or swollen battery, and never leave a charging battery unattended. Keep batteries away from flammable materials during charging. Store drone batteries at 50–60% charge when not in use.
