Leolus Energy didn’t start with a grand corporate plan. It started with a simple question: why are lithium batteries in India still unreliable for demanding applications like drones and solar systems?
Back in 2016, we started as Carbon Compass Enterprises with a small team and a clear focus: manufacturing lithium batteries that actually perform under real operating conditions. No shortcuts on cell matching. No skipping thermal testing. Every battery pack we shipped had to work — because our early clients were drone operators who couldn’t afford a mid-flight failure.
After ten years of manufacturing, testing, and iterating, we rebranded as Leolus Energy — a name that reflects what we’ve become: a lithium battery manufacturer in India that builds power systems for life beyond the grid. Today, our engineering team works on semi-solid state drone batteries, solar street light batteries, energy storage systems, and custom battery packs for OEMs across multiple industries.
